Yes, and I totally messed up my account. I noticed the note when logged in to adsense. "Your EFT failed - please correct your info or choose a different method of payment"

Of course I followed instructions, could not update my banking info so I ended up switching back to check.

Now I checked my email stating "Please do not do anything as we are working on solution".

Great, I can't put it back on EFT now because the system thinks my info is incorrect. Oh man. I guess gotta get in the habbit of checking email first before touching any account information with adsense.

I sent an email to support with all the details and giving them the ok to switch it back to EFT - since I can't do it.

Wow malinkam, I was just thinking that myself about what would have happened had I logged into to check my Adsense before getting the email. I'm sure I would have totally fudged my huggies upon seeing that "payments on hold" notice and did exactly what you did. Sheesh. I think they could have handled this mishap a little better. It's confusing and a little scary and --as in your situation-- carries a lot of potential for some major snafus.

littlegiant - that's exactly what happened. only if I checked my email first, gotta redesign my daily procedures. Check email first, check google 2nd.

Good game Google. I logged in this morning and saw that message and looked at my online banking and the EFT came through, so I switched from my checking account to my savings and hopefully the payment comes through a 2nd time :)

Hey come on, Google can afford it. Call it damages for thinking something was wrong with my bank account, calling up my bank, and being on hold for 30 minutes to ask what was up.

I'm sure with this kind of delay they fooled a lot of people into messing up their Adsense accounts today

Looks like Google removed all the "payments on hold" razzamatazz from my account (thank you, G) and I checked my bank account and my first EFT payment is still there (*wiping sweat off brow*) so for all intents and purposes, it looks like everything is back to 'normal' (assuming that the second EFT comes through alright).

Hm, where are you all at that had these problems? My whole EFT came through right on time with no problems...that's what I wonder if it was only in certain regions?

I got the EFT payment e-mail as well. I didn't check if the amount was right but I did receive $$ in my account. I'm going to have to check the actual amount...

Hm, I'm in TN, USA and the full amount came through without a problem...weird. Sorry to hear that as I would be irritated for sure.

I have PIP but no MIB in bank... but of course the greedy UK bank charged for stuff already ..

Yeah. I got the e-mail, the 'on hold' and everything else exactly as described. I'm in Canada as well. Both portions of the payment (the big and small) are now in my account.

when you say all cleared up, do you mean your money is in the bank or your google account is all good.

Mine still says EFT failed and I can't put it back from cheque.

Both. How about you? Did you get a reply from the email you sent to Google?

I recevied 2 replies from google (same day, wow), from a real person too, basically stating that they will pass it on to the right people. I have not heard anything since then and my account is still on EFT failed.
