Has anyone else witnessed it? The "Ads by Google" graphics on Google ads is sometimes changing places, going to the top, or left (I saw it on 468*60 sizes).

Personally I think it's rather silly but I understand they need to test stuff around to find the ultimate format. I can't say I'm pleased though, as I'm experiencing a pretty weak day in terms of overall revenues, but who knows if it's a coincidence. Esthetically, it wasn't working well either.

Do you think Google is noticing a creeping ad blindness overall and desperately trying to combat it by randomizing the format as much as they can or is it just another round of format testing that brought us a few hits and misses?

i think it's combating ad blindness. but the ad design with the logo on top looks ridiculous if you ask me. huge space beside the logo, unfavorable allocation of text and space.

but sadly - as we know - often ugly formats that stand out earn more attention and money than squeaky clean layouts.
