Scroll up and down on adsense block

I have just noticed up and down arrows on an adsense block, the block size is 300 x 250, if you click the arrows the ads change, but clicking the up arrow displays the previous ads.

Its the first time I have seen this, is this a new thing or maybe something they are testing

That's been around for a while now. It doesn't always appear, which may have to do with how many ads are available at the moment.

Interesting. I'm getting that on my site, too - on a 120x600 text ad.
