Adsense make sense?

I am a lowly blogger using Adsense to generate some revenue.

I get frustrated when I see all these stories of people making thousands of dollars with Adsense and my site just generates pennies a day.

I have tried everything to optimize my site. My pagerank is 4 (whatever that means). I don't have the cash to pay some SEO $10,000 to tweak my site some more.

I pretty much did it all on my own. But the money coming in is next to nothing.

I wonder if all those stories are even remotely true.

So, does Adsense make any sense? And is it worth the hassle?

AdSense doesn't involve any hassle (unless you're obsessive), but whether it's worth the screen real estate depends on your topic, your traffic, and your audience.
