I have been an Adsense customer, though novice, for many months and recently decided to determine which adds on my page were being clicked. So I added a different channel description to each of the adds, and named the channels top-side-bottom. For the last 4 days, since the change, when I log in, the daily earnings shown has fallen by over 1/2, while by checking the total of all channels combined, it adds up to a little more than I was making before.

The Adsense FAQ says that the two will not match and to determine the actual amount, I should check the aggregate.. which when checked, reflects the amount originally shown, which is less than 1/2 of the total by channels. Visits are up, clicks are up, but suddenly, with only the channels added, the earnings shown has fallen dramatically.

Today I killed the channels and went back to the way it used to be. By only adding channel descriptions and adding the number to google_ad_channel ="number here";.... can it screw things up that bad?
