I am averaging 40 cents per click (down from $1 a click when I began the site a year ago), but I only get 1,000 page views a day on a good day -- and very few clicks.

I don't think my site will ever get more than 2,000-3,000 page views a day due to the nature of the topic. FYI -- I don't need advice on SEO or Ad placement.

However, I am curious as to how much people who have similar traffic stats make from Adsense and how many pages of original content people make an effort to creat if they only get this many page views daily.

I enjoy my topic so I will keep making original content even if I know I will never cross 3,000 page view per day -- but I am interested if people have a limit (e.g., 100 pages of content) after which they cease output if they don't foresee more traffic and Adsense revenue.
