Is it possible to get adsense account for my subdomain?

I have a site which contains information regarding my city. I could not get approved for adsense account for that site. Can I use subdomain with different content and apply for adsense account? Will they approve?

Same domain: 1 account: maybe if your site meets their standards 2 accounts: no
