Of course at just 3 clicks $0.02 means nothing.

Just 3 clicks may be significant - if, say, you'd normally expect 300 for the same number of impressions.

Basing my average on over 1000 clicks a day, I see a fairly stable value for average earnings per click - but this value is steadily reducing - My EPC for the end of October is only about 65% of what is was at the End of August. :(

Number of visits and proportion of clicks per visit are both up, but my return on investment is gradually falling away.

And of course mines above average! low traffic but 76 dollars so far... :)

That site always gives me peanuts as it's only got adsense in a very small corner of it, 3 clicks is about average for 12 hours, I normally get $0.15 for my trouble, but $0.02.. someones getting cheap traffic!

It may mean you've got 3 clicks on site targeted (i.e. CPM) ads which would be $0, and those 2 cents are really coming from impressions. Check your adsense account to know for sure...

Is it really worth carrying ads for this return? I mean, how long is it going to take to get to the minimum of $100, and will Google have made the account inactive by then?

If the site has a lot of visitors, it may be worth considering other avenues to monetise the site. Google works well on some sites, and badly on others. I have one site it works pretty well on, and a couple of others that it doesn't. I tend to use other ad programs on those sites more than adsense.

I've got about 4 sites on adsense, this one is on the corner of my main business site (not adsense related) where i put together a few tutorials which get 50 visitors a day, earns about $2-5's a month and it isn't an area where clients end up so nothing lost really.

My main concern is a site i have which gets 600 uniques and around 2k page views a day that returns very very little adsense revenue compared to sites i've built for others on similar traffic.

couple of hundred bucks a month off that would be fantastic, but i'm lucky if it breaks $25.

I posted in another thread about my EPC hitting a low every 27th of each month and then surging up on the 28th. This month, there was a one day delay - it hit a low on the 28th and then surged up on the 29th. This pattern has held for the last six months that I've tracked it. After the 29th EPC goes every which way, but generally down. sigh. groan.

Yeah I did 3 cents today too...

I think it must be related to Halloween.

People must be carving pumpkins and beating the neighbor kids who come by the house to smash the pumpkins that my kids spent 3 hours working on.

It was worth the three cent pay out to hit them with the end of my scarecrow arm as they ran away screaming.

Hopefully we will see it pickup on Wednesday or Thursday.

My big decline started a month ago and is ongoing thru today.

This seems like the best day ever to me... $40 and it's only 11 AM. ;)

Tell me do you two have "good content" whitehat genuine sites with natural traffic? My betting is that you do!

My biggest site has mostly user-generated content that I try to quality-control somewhat. The traffic is natural, no black hat stuff.
