My revenue for yesterday is now higher than it was at 1:00 am this morning (the time of day the earnings are usually finalized). The number of ad impressions is the same as it was, but 20 more clicks have been added. Also, the overall earnings per click increased by 4%.

I wonder if they are scrutinizing clicks more and letting them through only after a more thorough, after the fact, filter system.

My income for yesterday has also increased, at least another hour's worth of clicks have arrived late - I'd not have noticed without this thread!

While the numbers are usually finalized nd settled by the morning after they can and have taken up to 24 or even 48 hours to do so in the past.

Frist two weeks of sept I was at 23 cents then down to 18 cents now back to 23 today. At 1,500 clicks that is a big difference, let's hope it sticks.

An hour after making my post above, I noticed that more clicks and earnings had been added for yesterday.

The only other time I have noticed the report for a particular day changing well into the next day was back on Monday, July 10, 2006, when about 200 more clicks than what was normal at the time came out of nowhere. There was a thread about it with others mentioning an unusually high number of clicks for July 10th, but nobody ever provided an official explanation for them.

Strange I gained $20 from yesterday that I didn't have at 1am.

Feels like they were running an additional algo on a test sector and double checking some clicks for validity.

I've gained $11 since the date turned, it seems to be a widespread thing. Probably greater scrutiny for questionable clicks which is good. But this means I'll now be watching past day's results as well as today's.

about 13th-14th smart price took in to count your stats, whilst taking into account your page hits and various little crap that means nothing you either got put on a higher cpc or low cpc (to make you more money apparantly when it's obvious it makes us less).

If someone is, for some reason, keeping stats per day, summing them up and then comparing them to long term adsense stats, there would have been a difference.
