Did they tell you how it would attract "many" visitors? Do you have lots of friends with high-traffic blogs who are promising to link to yours? Or do you own a billboard beside a busy highway? What exactly is the plan that will let you attract those "many" visitors, despite the fact that most web pages get very few visitors?

This amount may not seem very much in Switzerland however to give you an idea I have a friend who earns USD 700/800 per month with a well-established site.

He averages about 1,400 page impressions per day with nearly a 6% CTR and nearly USD 18.00 eCPM.

Most posters here will tell you that these are good figures therefore if you could generate the same, halve them and you can see what you would need to do.

I doubt very much if a blog, when you know nothing whatsoever to start off with, could generate anywhere near these figures.

I'm guessing that you would probably need a minimum 2,500-3,000 impressions per day.

It amazes me that there are people foolish enough to work at mundane jobs when there is this kind of easy money to be had.

i mean fourms for examples do drive higher trafic but NOT higer earning?
