If you strictly working on organic listings start an Adwords campaign, you'll go over.

I can only squeeze-out 3,000 uniques (per day) out of my SERPS, with Adwords I can double that.

If it takes someone hundreds of sites to do that.... they are doing hundreds of things wrong. Like low quality pages and/or scrapers.

In mentioning the above, I forgot to point out that my AdSense rep wiped all of my past lives records clean as soon as my site reached 500 million page views per month.

Thats when you those one cent clicks come in handy. You will shurely reach it in sept, especially after labor day, back to work, school, etc. Aug was my worst in last 7 months.

I'm lucky enough to have broken through the $1000 dollars - but I've put in more than 700 hours to do it! I've never worked longer hours in my life as have have over the past 2 months.

i've put in long, hard hours on my site too. and i definitely know it's not "easy money".

compared to my previous job as a web & multimedia developer working 12 - 14 hour days, doing the job of 3 people, this IS peanuts!

Well 4-5 months of learning and something like 3 months testing and than every month I increase my avarage by about $1/day so I guess its comming really soon :)

Also waiting for the first day with 1.000 visits but not really woried as long as I am making nice profit with really not that much work.

I, on the other hand, finally finished over $1,000! :) Very happy today, I've been with AdSense since April of '05. I'm running 1 hobby website.

On June 27th i got hit by the GOOGLE SERPs bug where 95% of the site disappeared from GOOGLE for exactly 30 days. All came back on July 27th, even stronger. So July was really bad, just over $600. June was about $850, so I was expecting July to take over 1K, but it wasn't in the cards.

COULD have been even more, but the site was taken down by my host for 2 days this month because of a trademark issue.

How's this for adding insult to injury? I just looked at my August stats again. The $999.88 was for Adense for Content. But it turns out I also had a referral click. Can you guess what my total August payment is?

$999.99!

I'm not complaining, but gee! One cheapest click away from breaking the jinx!
