Unbranded AdSense ads

No Ads by Goooooogle

I just looked at my site and there's an image ad without "Ads by Goooooogle" or "Advertise on this site". Just a normal 468x60 banner ad.

Is it something new? And no, I'm definetly not a premium publisher.

Are you talking about text ads or image ads?

Because I just recently started using image ads, and I've seen more frequently than not that Google image ads are not branded at all.

Yes, some image ads don't have the ads by gooogle. Don't worry.

i noticed this also lately. definitely a better viewing experience. but two things make me wonder:

a) why do/did advertisers accept this 10px(?) cut out on the bottom of their banners at all? looks/looked completely unprofessional.
b) isn't it actually forbidden to not mark advertisements as advertisements?
