I am just getting started with Adsense. Am I right in thinking we get paid for so many page views as well as the clicks?
How many pagew views is required...and does the amount paid by Google vary in any way.
For those of you with very high traffic do yuo find you are making any significant money this way...or only through clicks?

If an advertiser chooses to create a site targetted campaign, where they opt to have ads show on your site, they pay per impression.
In neither case is the amount predictable. It depends on the market, the advertisers bid, the competition, your site, the country your users come from, the quality of the clicks you get and a myriad of other things. Even on established sites with plenty of ad inventory it can vary quite dramatically from day to day and from month to month.
Since both types of ads are intermingled on your page, it can be difficult to tell them apart, but since, in theory anyway, the ads most likely to generate income are the ones shown, it makes little difference.
There are plenty of people who earn very good money from both types of ad.
