I have found a way to increase CTR, my ads are shown before the content of my page loads. And there is an interval of about 1,5 to 2 seconds where people see the ads *only*.
It's just unbelievable: my CTR has jumped from an average 3-4% to constant 8-9%! And it's a forum, so this is really good.

Question is: do you think it is legal? In the TOS it is mentioned that there has to be content on the page where ads are shown - could it be a problem when content shows up about 2 seconds later? :) I mean 2 seconds are not much and people are forced to look at the ads and read them. So why not?

Is this a good example of how visitors don't want to wait for pages to load?

Isn't the average time a visitor spends on a webpage 5 seconds? If all they see is ads, then they may think that's all there is to the page, and are exiting via an ad. But maybe it doesn't load like that for all browsers, or people on high speed.

Yeah, I guess it's just best to have the adsense team take a look.
