Hi everyone,

We have another round of routine system maintenance scheduled for Saturday, July 29 (tomorrow) at 10:00am PDT.

As many of you already know, you may not be able to access your account during this time period. However, rest assured that your Google ads will continue to show, and your account stats and earnings will continue to accrue as normal.

Thanks for your patience!

My adsense notifier plug for firefox does not work anymore since the update. Anyone with the same problem?

Would it be possible to have the ASA posts (or others by Google reps) highlighted

I see your wish came true, thanx mods

I thought it would make sense to have this thread pinned up at the top, because A lot of members will be having problems logging into their Adsense accounts. If this thread is visible them it prevents us being flooded with loads f new "Adsense is down" threads.

It may be worth doing this when ever ASA makes an important announcement like this. I will leave this pinned until tomorrow to let others catch up.

Mack.

Hmmm...Clicks and earnings normal however Page Impressions 20+% more than average for a Saturday...are they deliberately trying to ruin my eCPM?

Start the DeepHeat fallout:-))

Off to watch the German Grand Prix followed by Touring Cars, catch ya later.

System: The following message was spliced on to this thread from: http://www.webmasterworld.com/google_adsense/3027915.htm [webmasterworld.com] by martinibuster - 6:56 am on July 30, 2006 (utc -8)

Funny thing is, after yesterday, some weird things my users are telling me. Some say they see the "you are not authorized to view this page". VERY few though, most are having no problems. Some say that pages are taking longer to load though. I wonder if Google Adsense is going through some major changes (re-indexing), etc? Anyone else see weird things with them after yesterday?

My CTR trippled and my EPC went up about 30%. I like money, but it makes no sense.

True, after DeepHeat I am seeing good CTR, here is what I just wrote in another thead:
low EPC compansated by higher CTR, above average earnings

You think better targeting was the result of this update?

Hopefully it is either improved targeting or a click dump. I was afraid that it might be a click attack of some sort.

I can't tell anything until a work day since my CTR and eCPM is always higher on a weekend.

Today's is tracking like a normal Sunday however the EPC is up at the moment but the US generally lower EPC has yet to come into effect.

Was DeepHeat a real maintenance (26/27th outtage) and not an update?

when did they ever announce an update?
it's only speculation anyway.
