I was able to finally get the adwords page after about 50 seconds (on DSL). Then I came here and saw your post, went back to the adwords page (different window) and it had skipped past the login to the My Account page. Weird.
Now all three services are coming right up.

Google ads wont show up, because of that pages with ads on them wont load, and it slows down half of the Internet :( They better fix it! That's what a monopoly of one company leads to: when they are down, the Internet is practically unusable. Ridiculous.

Interestingly, on Firefox the page goes on loading right past the adsense code. When the browser gives up on adsense, you just get the big ugly connection was reset page stuffed into wherever your adsense block is.
On IE, the whole page hangs forever, but when it gives up on the adsense it still presents a pretty page.

Anyway, think how much non-Adsense income people with adsense are losing because adsense has rendered their site unviewable.

Can't access it here from Northern Cali either as of 8:45PST... and yes, all my sites with adsense are partially or completely hosed (i.e. layout is messed up or the page simply will not load).

This is ridiculous. It has been like this now for at least 90 minutes. Looks like somebody tripped over the power cord in Mountain View.

I'm seeing ads just fine in Safari and Firefox and have been all day.

Ads (and my site) came back a while ago, but I still can't see the Google Adsense log-in page intermittantly.

Natashka made the point. Goog is the internet. I'm not one for regulation here but this is a monopoly and new players need to be forced in to prevent this type of crap from happening.

I even called my webhosting thinking that theirs is the problem. It is back but so slow in loading. (Ca)

I've got ads on my sites but can't get into the Adsense site -- 11pm CDT time in Texas.

What kind of problem would affect adsense, adwords, and search, but at the same time not be affecting large numbers of other sites (other than the adsense ripple).

It would be nice to hear from other countries or the east coast if they are experiencing issues.

According to my logs, 96% of people use MSIE.. One monopoly is bad, but TWO monopolies together is a disaster! ;)

OK. Here's an interesting bit of info. When this all stated, as my sites were down and I couldn't see any reason why, I called my server's host tech support too. They're in Massachusetts and they could see my pages, but I couldn't in Los Angeles. So, it's possible the problem is only on the West Coast.

My ads are still down. I've temporarily disabled my G ads so my sites could come back.

Beats me - I'm having no problem whatsoever seeing ads, searching Google or logging into AdSense here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am having what appears to be a stuck click column for several hours - yet oddly enough, it appears I may be the only one here with that symptom!

It appears that Google is down all over the world! I tried viewing my site using various proxy servers in different parts of the world, and no ads are being displayed. On top of that problem, my pages won't load either. The ad server being down on Google seems to prevent the pages from loading. What could be the cause of all this?

Yeah Google is down for some reason, nothing on google is working. The home page for google and some of its other pages work, but search, adsense are all down.

There must be something wrong with there servers. Which is weird that its only effects the search (which I know are different servers from the rest of googles and adsense too, as I'm sure its on another set of servers. This is very weird indeed.

I live in Nevada, and its down here.

Well if you think about the number of websites that it has effects, I wounldn't be shock if they start to attack the internet more. I mean this can just be a simple issue with Google and I'm sure it will be back up soon. But just to think if some hackers attack Googles and shut them down for only a few hours...

Makes me think there may be an intruder of sorts that got access into G's servers, leading Google to shut down these servers. Also see my 3rd message in this thread relating to me going right past the login even though I hadn't been since the last time I cleared my cache.

Purely speculation, of course.

From Jakarta (Indonesia) there is no problem of displaying the Google Adsense.

I just went to check my stats. The "Overview" page won't display for me, but I can get to all the other reports. Sounds like somebody at Google is working late.

Yeah the Adsense site finally loaded but nothing past the top part is showing up.

All my sites with AdSense are failing to load. I believe this is related to the heat wave in California. I think Google said they had sites down yesterday and it probably got worse today. That would explain why my sites won't and why I can't even get into Google News.
