i am doing analysis and i just wonder what everyone here usually gets for their CPC. I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Right now i am receiving .10 CPC. Is that bad or good? I need .25 cents at least or higher for CPC

CPC = Cost per click and is for advertisers
EPC = Earnings per click and is for publishers (us)

Some sites make 1 to 5 cents a click, other make many dollars per click, if you want a guess, I'd say the majority make less than half a dollar per click. How much is mine? I'm not telling!

You're asking us to violate the TOS, you know.

But I'm curious to know why you "need" an EPC of 25 cents. If you are averaging 10 cents and want to increase your income to the equivalent of 25-cent clicks, one way to do it would be to improve your CTR.

I can tell you that what I've picked up here is that people's average EPC ranges from a few cents to over a dollar, depending on your area. As for eCPM, forums are often $1 or $2, a good site might make $10, while very strong sites (good CTR and good EPC) make $50 or more.

we have about 2000 to 3000 users per day go to our site. We are the main people in this business and we want to advertise. We are determing whether to go the CJ route or the google adsense route. I've been advertising only in yahoo an google. We are signing up for CJ as a publisher so we should receive over 5000 visitors a day so we want to know if we can make really good money with adsense.

Oh, so you are going to use CJ to bring you traffic and then profit off it using AdSense? Interesting idea.

what does google arbitrage mean? We want to make money with google adsense on our site but we want it to profitable just in case it lowers our sales to conversion rate. We sell a lot of products per day so we do not want to hurt the main site. Thank you for all of your help. We already advertise with google

We want to use Cj to sell our own products but if other people are advertising our products and coming to our site we should have a lot of visitors. We also might try to earn commission in the mean time. It sounds like a lot of money. We just are struggling with whether to go the CPC way or the CPA way

The danger of advertising on your site at the same time as you are trying to sell your products is that you might damage the sales of your product.

My site is primarily informational but I do have a small section where I promote a book I wrote. There are no AdSense ads in that section.

we know that is a danger but someone really wants our product than they will buy the product. If i can earn some extra money for it than great- hopefully cj with a high commission of 15% will create some great sales. We have plenty of room for ads

You have excellent inbound links to your site, yet a grey Google PR, sounds like trouble.

I would concentrate on selling my producs if I were you, also get myself a new domain and start link building from scratch too.

we are working on that- we are working very hard on the SEO- the new website will be up soon

We are going to work on Page rank and getting high on the search engine- we just feel the ads might create a lot of revenue. The biggest problem is that it is a secure site

Ehm, no more urls please, WW policy forbids it.

2-3,000 visitors per day might not make you as much as you think, but give it a try and come back tell us how it worked.
