AdWords 'Quality Score' and AdSense

AdWordsAdvisor says QS affects ad position

I ran across this item in a post by AdWordsAdvisor in the AdWords forum. AWA's statement was in response to a question by an advertiser, and it read:

Your quality score does effect your ad position on the content network as well, but minimum CPC requirements do not.

This sounds like good news for publishers who have been plagued by MFAs. Low-quality advertisers may flee the search network for the content network, but it appears that they'll still be at a disadvantage--at least in theory.

A minimum CPC set for MFA's, plus a possible negative score should keep many out of content ad positions.

MFAs main revenue source is AdSense and are violating many terms and conditions .Unless they are not getting booted from adsense, MFAs will continue to adapt themselves to adwords changes.

That's phase two, start booting the survivors from Adsense.

They made a big mess into a medium mess, now they have to clean that up.

I cleaned my filter out and started blocking with a fresh slate. Ofcourse I started with the generic shopping sites and went to heavy policing from there.

"Your quality score does effect your ad position on the content network as well, but minimum CPC requirements do not. "

What BS ..

I have an officially 'Low Quality' site. When I pay 40% of the 'recommended Bid' to activate a Keyword, I mostly get the no. 1 or 2 spot on Search and 3 or 4 spot on content. My Content position is given as 3.5 by the official reporting.

I think, one needs to take G- comments with a pinch of salt.
