What's the deal with video ads?

saw one on one of my sites

Hey all,

I saw a video ad on one of my sites for the first time yesterday. It looked pretty neat and was very targeted. If someone clicks it, does it play a video or does it go to another page?

Just wondering how/when I am paid on these things.

Maybe I was not clear enough.

I want to know:

1. If the person clicks play, does it play a video right there or take them away?

2. If the video plays right there, am I paid when they click pay or is there a secondary click involved.

My guess would be this:

IF they click play you get nothing.
If they click on the video they are taken to a new page and you get the click payment.
