no adwords on my ip

possible that google doesnt show ads on own pc

I noticed that google doesnt show ads anymore if i open a website on the computer on which i open my adsense account.
On externel pc's there is no problem, can somebody confirm this

I noticed the same thing. The ads didn't show on our site (just blank spaces). I dialed in using a different ISP and all was fine from there.

Something is worng, given that my first ISP is massive.

An interesting test would be: From that machine, using the ISP that doesn't see ads, ping pagead2.googlesyndication.com

If you don't get a valid response, your ISP or your ISP's DNS (or whatever you have your DNS set to) is doing something funny (but I doubt that would happen).

I've noticed some of my clients are using firewalls (Sonicwall is one) that block based on content (from a 3rd party maintained list) and that includes Adsense. Since the vast majority of users appear to surf (and shop) at work this can have a big impact on earnings.

I didn't say that the ISP was blocking it. I said that ads were not appearing when I was dialed in to that ISP. That's entirely different.

Anyhow, they are back today.

My guess is a Google glitch. Maybe they thought the ISP was a proxy. Who knows.
