I'm looking pretty normal today - whatever that means.

The last time I looked, it did seem to be a little behind... but I've accepted the fact that it's just an occurance that happens from time-to-time.

It's been like this for about ten days now but i kind of like it, i'm most active on internet late at night and it got kind of boring logging on after 90 % of the day's traffic had already breezed through, now i see delayed updates making my constant checks on adsense more dynamic lol

Yuck! What an absolutely diabolical Friday off the back of a cracking Thursday.

Page impressions and EPC were "normal" yet CTR and eCPM were easily the worst of 2006.

Earnings were as bad as July 1st and 2nd and make the 3rd and 4th look positively bouyant!

The overall earnings for the week have been acceptable however a daily 50% swing in the metrics is unbelievable.

Anyone else see the same?

just a small question ,following for years that forum i see the person Ann posting always in every adsense thread ,question:is she a successful webmistress that survives all Google updates and ranks always top of the pops?is she an adsense PR under cover? is a lonely allienated PC extencion that communicates with the world through this forum? :)

Yep, the CTR has been quite bad the last two days. The only part I am not sure about is the targetting generally. Its still OK in most part. However, couple of my pages that had vey high CTR has been getting very untagteed ads for about two weeks now. I am not sure why this is because they had perfect ads for quite a long time.

Actually, my 1st and 2nd were really quite good. The 3rd was very normal and I was braced for the 4th being logically dismal (and it was).

Yesterday (Friday the 14th) was nowhere near as GOOD as the 4th and today is showing little improvement!

Some of this downturn in activity, I think, is being caused by a lot of very rude people out enjoying summer activities and not clicking on ads and buying things as they very well should be! ;-)

No, I am not a Google mole! And wouldn't be if they asked...I don't play those games.

Yes, my websites have stood the test of time and are quite high in the serps. Still, my bookmarks and links to me do account for almost as much as the serp visitors.

I just depend on the listings for NEW surfers and no I would not go under without Google but I have enjoyed the income they enable me to make with adsense so like everyone else in here I try to find ways to overcome adverse conditions.

I am over 70 years old (but not senile) have 4 Grandchildren plus one Great Grandchild :), been on the web since 1997 but could survive very well on my other income if I never touched another computer. Living alone makes the websites a good hobby to have as I can work on them whenever I choose. :)

Are you sure you are not looking at MY AdSense stats by mistake because you perfectly described my last 2 days. Yuck!

How in the world can CTR and eCPM fall through the floor like that? I'm guessing it is the targetting. Or maybe we are getting a flood of new MFAs on the content side off the back of the recent AdWords debacle?

Yes, the last 3 days' stats (today included) are abysmal. Low CTR, Low CPC. I was doing fantastically this month until Thursday.

I can't explain the horrible CTR that I am experiencing now. Maybe its bad targetting, if it is, it just goes to show why people should not become too reliant on Adsense and should really have a day job. There are too many factors out of your control.

Due to incredibly low impressions and low clickthrus, I thought adsense was just slow in updating. Then I checked my own tracking software and it was the same. Must be just a slow summer day....
