Sports Book Advertisement against TOS?

I was recently approached by an online sportsbook about starting an advertising campaign. The Google AdSense policy states that sites cannot include gambling or casino related content. Would simply placing a banner ad for an online sports book be against the rules?

I was also approached about writing a sponsored review of their site? This might be a little more questionable in my opinion.

I guess the ultimate question is whether gambling and casino-related content refer to sites that are actually gambling sites where people wager money, or sites that just mention the topic?

Ask Google.

I'm pretty sure they don't want their code on pages that are even related to gambling. They're getting enough bad press lately as it is. (Party plane? Are they nuts?)

As UserFriendly said, best ask Google,

But if I were you I would specify clearly that:
a) It is a banner for a specified period, not fixed content
b) It is a banner not text contnet
c) It will not be on the same pages where there are Google ads (or would it?)

Personally I never put Google ads on the same pages where an advertiser has booked an ad.
