My site has been blocked by a country, the first time I've experienced this. Does anyone know what to do? I've tried using the "id" alternate, but the "id" page still doesn't rank in Indonesia.

What you can do next:
---> Consult a lawyer
If you have any legal questions regarding this notice, you should consult with your own attorney.
It looks like the notification tells you what you can do about it. We do not offer legal advice on this forum, sorry.

First check Google Search Console for any manual actions or legal removal notices.

Second, try setting your region manually. Go to Google Search Settings > Region Settings and pick Indonesia. The "id" alternate alone won't force ranking.

Third, check if your hosting IP is geolocated correctly. Sometimes Google misreads server location.

If nothing works, report it through Search Console feedback. Beyond that, there's not much you can do. Legal removals are impossible to fight.
