Is anyone else getting a large amount of bot traffic from Singapore? This has been happening to me for a while and even when I block all known Singapore IP addresses, the traffic bot remains the same.

I've noticed that some of the WHOIS info for a particular Singapore server farm is not completely accurate, sometimes the CIDR doesn't fit the ranges. ACEVILLEPTELTD-SG (INCOME AT RAFFLES) especially. Their ASN is AS132203.
I am seeing this also, I block the entire country of Singapore and Brazil now using Cloudflare security rules.

That is almost certainly the Huawei Cloud search bot that comes in under a different IP for every different URL. I first posted about this in Jan/Feb 2024, after that date it calmed down however the last couple of months or so has seen it active every day.
Blocking it from my server stats was not a problem however if one uses Statcounter it is impossible to do so, well, that's what I found, and I've seen days when this bot has accounted for 10% of Statcounter metrics.

I'm not being impacted by Singapore. However, for the past week I have seen a ton of German bots acting in a very similar manner. Using multiple IP, some of which try to attack the backend of the site. Thankfully I managed to block them. They have also calmed down a bit.
Seems to be quite a few trying their luck right now..
