Google Search to become more "visual, snackable, personal, and human"

Google apparently is going after the Tik-Tok generation. How will this affect G's appeal to its existing broader audience (especially those over 30)? Will Google's accelerated move from "10 blue links" create opportunities for competitors?
Need to re-read and digest then keep an eye open for "whatever" !

Another 'me too' effort. I wonder if it will last longer than Google+, Buzz, Offers, Knol, and all the rest of the failed copies? And how will legislators react to it?
Obviously Google have never heard the saying: 'if it aint broke, don't fix it'. Anyone know how I can buy shares in Duck and Neeva?

Incidentally, what does 'snackable' mean? Are we supposed to eat popcorn whilst trying to wade through the ads?

I wonder what this will mean for some of the "harmful" industries that don't deal with ads (Firearms, tobacco, fireworks, etc.). I'll be attending Google I/O tomorrow to see.
