Google Discussion Search Gone - Look like it's been retired

Google Discussion Search is probably one of my most used features on Google and I was sad to see it removed from the "More" tab near the beginning of the year. For months, I've been accessing it from [google.com...] as an alternative.

Looks like it's been completely removed today.

You used it just the other day?

Andem, I remember reading months ago that it was gone, and I just found the comment here, posted on Feb 2, 2014...

Recently Google has also removed the ability to filter search results to discussion forums (from the "search tools" menu).

You might find the rest of the thread interesting too...

How does Google treat forum content?

@Robert Charlton: I am aware of that. As I stated, it has been accessible via [google.com...] since it was removed the list of filters - that no longer works.

Sorry, Andem. I missed that. You can try adding the word "forum" or "discussion" to the end of your query. Not the same thing as what Discussion Search gave you, but different from the plain vanilla search, and sometimes helpful.
