I have a .guru that is indexed when I search for my keyword guru google highlights the extension unlike .coms, .nets and .infos.

What this means? Who knows.

if i had to guess, this means one of those future monthly lists of 50 google search updates will include something that translates to "changing how keywords are highlighted in .gTLDs"

added:
btw amazon wins the SERP for com:
http://www.google.com/search?q=com [google.com]

the gTLD looks highlighted in my SERP, as are the searches for net and org.
