Good evening guys,
One of my sites is very image centric. As are the other sites in my niche. One of the things I noticed, is that with over 100 links on a page, on a website that doesn't have much text, doesn't rank. I've tested it a few times and the target page, stops ranking and another page, that has less links ranks instead, but usually not as well.
I wondered how much text, is needed on a page, to help prevent this from happening?
In one instance, a page went from not being able to rank for over a year, to number 1 within 48 hours. Just from reducing the number of links. It's very odd but evidently in this particular setup, there is a such thing as too many links.
Having too much text will look out of place in a gallery. Any ideas?
