This isn't a complaint story. It's a story about Google.
I have been hit apparently 3 times with Panda. Today I see for the first time ever, the site has more visitors from Bing than Google. The only time in history I've seen this on any site I've owned has been because of a self inflicted penalty. So, this site did get into the thousands of uniques per day. That dropped to about 300-500. Then for 4 glorious days I went back to my thousands. After those 4 days, I'm down to 200 visitors and those are mainly Bing.
My site isn't crap. It isn't spam. It doesn't have bogus backlinks around the internet. However it's been completely wiped off the face of the earth.
Understand this is an opportunity website for me to earn some income. Yes, it's real folks. So, I will say I've read about Panda and cleaned up the site. However, I'm waiting to hear from anyone who has experience a Panda nuke, then modified and then return to your former glory or anywhere close to it. I've seen this story. Penalty and constant attempts at resolution to no avail. Futile in other words. I've now done what I can. There is nothing else I can do with this site. It's getting daily blog updates. I'm waiting to hear some stories of people returning to their former glory. Do those stories exist right now? Based on previous penalty situations, I've seen my sites come back to their previous placements after penalties. However I have no idea and no data to suggest that fixing in this Panda world results in a reinstatement. Trust me, this isn't flowers and kisses. Yeah yeah it's free traffic but it's also the way the ecosystem called the internet was designed and has worked for YEARS. Want to change it now? It's like the US government saying ok folks, our dollar is now officially worth half from now on. One swoop, changed economics forever. Nice fail there.
