Google image search - framebuster penalty ?

Hello,

the question popped up a few times in this forum, but I never found a clear answer to it.
In Google Image search: is the use of a JS framebuster, to remove the layer above the original site, safe for your image rankings ?
In other words: does Google penalize it if you brake their frame ?
(And what about the Yahoo and Bing Image search ?)

I've never seen a problem reported about Google Image search and framebuster scripts. The other search engines have their own forums here: Bing [webmasterworld.com] and Yahoo [webmasterworld.com]
