Pages from site parked for a month still show up in Google SERPs

Pages from site parked for a month still show up in Google SERPs with month-old cache date.

Alta Vista shows about 300 links to the main site, but considering the site has been parked for a month, shouldn't it removed from SERPs.

If not, why not?

And if not removed from the SERPs, shouldn't it at least update the cache?
