I have a website which was PR 4 and i 301ed that to one of my other domains about 4 months ago. After 3 months I took out the 301 as I then decided to make a website on that. It's been over a month now that Google hasn't included it in the index.
The links should not be a problem as I have hundreds of links to it from before. Also got a couple of new links to the domain incase google wanted those. But still no dice!
Can anyone please let me know as to what I can do on this?
However, since there was previously a 301 redirect for the domain, something may be "sort of stuck" on Google's back end. So I'd suggest a couple extra steps to try to un-stick things.
#1 Set up a Webmaster Tools account for the domain.
#2 Submit an XML Sitemap
And if that doesn't get some indexing, at least for the domain root, then use the Webmaster Tools interface to submit a Reconsideration request and explain the situation succinctly.
