Hello everyone in the new year. I have had a bit of a free time and stumbled upon an interesting story which I assume many of you are familiar with, but will post a link to it to show the battle of content creators with Google, one of the latest one that got concluded being the battle with Genius: [
gadgets.ndtv.com...] It seems that Google got caught blatantly stealing the work of the guys from Genius, but then the judges say that Genius does not own the right to those lyrics. Yeah, but the work of creating the database, the curation and apparently the matching with the artists themselves is not relevant. Google can copy your data if it can be proven that it doesn't fully, 100% belong to you. I wonder how this can be extrapolated. I am curious to see what new updates will bring to the table this year and how much data stealing will be happening, and in which form.
