Cuba's citizens might finally get better access to Google services with the news that Eric Schmidt signed a deal with Cuba's telecoms company, ETECSA, to install servers in the country.
"This deal allows Etecsa to use our technology to reduce latency by caching some of our most popular high bandwidth content like YouTube videos at a local level," said Google in a statement. Google Signs Deal to Install Servers in Cuba [bbc.co.uk]
