Google is joining the Technical Steering Group of the .NET Foundation, joining Microsoft, Red Hat, JetBrains, Unity and Samsung.

Somehow I have the feeling that this news is related to this other home page story [webmasterworld.com] where is announced that Microsoft will become Platinum sponsor of the Linux Foundation.

I'm sure it is. Google has always been interested in open software, so the big surprise is the other one from Microsoft.
