Spotify chooses Google's Cloud computing for, no doubt, the cost saving benefits for a business serving a global market. There's no question, Spotify is a great brand to add to Google's cloud computing offering.

A decade ago, the Swedish startup built its seminal streaming music service atop a small number of machines inside a Scandinavian data center, before expanding across this facility and into data centers in the United Kingdom and the US. I hope Spotify got something in the agreement that requires google to help migrate Spotify to AWS when google shutters google Cloud.
