Those of you in the US keen to pay for purchases with your NFC-enabled Android phone will be pleased to hear this announcement that Google is rolling out Android Pay via Play store in the next few days. Android Pay will come pre-installed on selected Android phones.
Android Pay works with all NFC-enabled Android devices (running KitKat 4.4+), on any mobile carrier, at every tap and pay ready location across the US. Google Rolls Out Android Pay Across the US [officialandroid.blogspot.com]

Convenience is great, but it also puts more value on your phone, so did you notice that Google talks about security.
Yes, resource-hogging is becoming a problem, and i'm surprised people are not complaining more about it. Bloatware!

Their idea of security is a joke. If my phone gets stolen, all i have to do is log in to my account and change my password.

this might sound feaseable to some, but one of those unannounced updates crashed my phones ability to log in to my account. The few apps i had on my phone no longer work. The play store login is just jibberish that doesn't allow me to login.

It won't be long before the bad headlines start showing up.
