Not exactly a surprise, people can get rather up tight about being filmed by strangers.

I think the surprise is .. that it has not happened before - or maybe it has.

Imagine your having a nice peaceful dinner or a drink, you look across and see someone filming/photographing you. I would not be too happy especially if I was with someone who may be ( or may be not ) my wife :) I guess some people would react in a more extreme way than me.

She ignored requests by the other bar patrons to stop filming them. Who wants to go out to a bar and end up on YouTube? While I don't condone violence she doesn't get my sympathy either.

Some months back news reported that a number of clubs around the USA had posted signs disallowing Glass on their premises. I suspect that more will be inspired to do the same after this report... After all, who wants violence of any kind in their location?

Glass users should expect more push back similar to this in the future.

How awful. I don't condone the violence, either, but, when you're in a alcohol-fuelled environment, sadly, it is more likely to happen.

People appearing to record others ought to be more more careful, whether using Glass or any other recoding tool. Glass is more likely to cause a problem being connected to Google's ecosystem.

It was only the other day that Google published guidelines for using Glass.

I expected the first fight to be over somebody wearing them near children but without the Saville scandal the US might not have the same awareness of those issues.
