[bbc.co.uk...] ...about the same as if Google StreetView, Google Glass, DoubleClick and Adwords Tracking, or other Google technology invaded my privacy, (the "fly over" photos of my backyard are only available now via Google Maps).

Your neighbor likely can't afford a surveillance drone. Google already provides the needed surveillance to terrorists, stalkers and other bad guys with their street view and high flying overview of your backyard. Heaven knows we wouldn't want to compete with that! So let's make all other surveillance devices illegal. The Empire Strikes again! What are they smoking in Mountain View?
