If you have an Android device (Google’s smartphone), it may recently have installed a new app from Google called “Latitude.” It was part of a system update, so I didn’t pay any attention when it showed up. But Tuesday night, I got an e-mail from Google saying that Latitude was running and reporting my location.
Off topic - but that National Review site was ANNOYING as heck! I could not move my mouse anywhere on the screen without spawning an ad popup, a video ad popup, etc. I got 2 sentences into the article and closed the page.
Maybe this is the type of site Google will demote with the new ad-heavy algo. [webmasterworld.com...]
