..Google have been running this "deal" in various countries for a while now ..and advertising it via many methods ..also via ads in adsense ..and yes meel.fr is the official partner "pour la France".

And ..le 2nd year c'est payant ..€5.00 per month.

Won't affect webmasters ..might affect very low price web designers ..for a while..but as others pointed out here at the time of the original thread ..does any web designer want a client who will only pay those prices..

This intrigues me though ..do you mean that meel.fr ( Google's French "partner" )is spamming your inbox ? on a non commercial email ( In France, B2B unsolicited email is allowed, but not to non business accounts ) account?

I'd rather take a loan from Al Capone than a 'free' site from Google. Even Al Capone had some limits and morals, not Google.
