Microsoft New Browser will challenge Google

Internet Explorer 8 will have privacy settings that block browsing habits

This is a very interesting article showing where Microsoft is taking it's new browser. The new privacy settings will prevent Google from targeting advertisments.

It is true it may affect non-premium Adsense publishers, but it will certainly not affect adverts shown on Google's own properties. Almost certain Google can circumvent it with added Javascript. Google will still be able to do contextual (but possibly not user-targetted) in any case.

* This feature will break a lot more than Google so there will be a way around it, you can be sure of that

It will be interesting to see how this impacts analytics and other google services as well.
