The senior vice president for worldwide sales and operations of online search leader Google Inc. sold 6,000 shares of common stock, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings Tuesday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Omid Kordestani reported he sold the shares Friday for $498.70 to $503.25 apiece.
