I don’t really approve of New Year’s resolutions. If you feel you need to change something in your life, do it now;* don’t put it off until some arbitrary future date.**

My new year resolution is to get my cms site [not mentioning the url here] running in a professional way. I am also looking for some encouragement in this forum. I have returned to this forum after a long time.

While I agree that the Do It Now philosophy is more efficient in starting a new activcity or changing an old one, it does seem that for many people the setting of a target date like New Year's Day can be more motivating, perhaps because it gives the mind time to accept and to prepare for the activity.

Having said that, I will admit that at least some of my own Resolutions have failed for the usual reason. (I'm sure you know what it is -- I'm lazy and the old way was easier.) Then, too, there are the Rationalizations ...

... and there is some wisdom in that as well!

I have a whole bunch of resolutions.

One of them (after procrastinating for three years) is to finally make good on learning Vue 3.

Another (an idea which occurred to me much more recently but will complement the one above nicely) is to learn Laravel 12.
