It's 50 years since scientists tried and successfully sent messages via ARPANET, the precursor to the Internet.

Vint Cerf was 26 years old at that time, and much has changed since those early days.

Often called The Father of The Internet, Vint Cerf has been looking forward and there are a series of interviews around the web.

i remember first learning about arpanet at a seminar about computer networking in newton, MA when arpanet was probably 13 years old.

Can't imagine my life without the Internet
If that “1995” is what I think it is, you really can’t, can you :) Some of us can remember life without the internet ... though how much longer I can remember that, or anything else, must remain open to question.
