I was researching VPNs recently and still looking for a good one. I recall overlooking Nord due to some reports that it wasn't as private as others. But it sounds like a secret service investigation has been under way and a heads up about nothing being that private.

Looks like they rent servers in a 3rd party data center, and that data center had backdoor access systems to the servers that Nord was not even aware of existing.
Ouch! Like... if your landlord has a key to your apartment, he should say so. Instead, he left the key laying out on your back patio. Dumb.

I read TechCrunch article, and was curious to see if the Data center provider was disclosed. See attached article, with more details and the name of the Data Center provider: [datacenterdynamics.com...]
@RhinoFish according to the Data Center provider, they didn't leave the key out, the tenant left a window open. He said she said....
