Was I the only one that saw this new TV ad from Google?

It was targeted towards small/medium business, and those interested in G certifications.

The landing page at the end of the spot was [google.com ] (google.com/grow).

I didn't see it.

It's no surprise Google is targeting SME business. Most of the SMEs would struggle to work out how to use Google.

Was I the only one that saw this new TV ad from Google?

As more and more people are switching to streaming services, fewer and fewer people are seeing TV ads. And a lot who still watch commercial TV have DVRs and skip through the commercials. Those who are left don't seem like they would be Google's target audience for the ad...

Then again, after looking at the landing page, it does seem like that is the audience they're looking for in this case.


As an aside, the last time I saw a TV commercial was... Well, 2 hours ago in the gym because they just have regular TV channels in the cardio area. But I think it's been close to 10 months since I saw a TV commercial on my own TV. Then again, lately I have seen more in-app advertising using TV-like commercials.

Well of course we all skip through ads. When I saw the G logo I stopped and scrolled back and watched the commercial because I had never seen them targeting that audience before.

I consider seeing an ad as a failure in my setup, it's a webmaster thing.

Haven't seen it. Then again, the stations I view probably aren't in the desired demographic range. :)
