I am sorry, I tried to watch it but couldn't. So I guess I am not happy. Even though it didn't make me sad that I couldn't _{(stand to)} watch the whole thing.

Anyway, I need cheering up. For some time I have had running through my head the cover of "Heartbeat" by Dave Edmonds from the first Beserkley compilation. Now I have done some assiduous research and find that

#1 this song was not on the first Chartbusters compilation (the only one I ever owned) or, as far as I can tell, any other
#2 Dave Edmonds or possibly Edmunds was not a Beserkley artist
#3 if Dave Edmonds or possibly Edmunds ever covered "Heartbeat", the Internet does not know about it

and finally

#4 the only "Heartbeat" cover I can find from even approximately the right time period is by-- brace yourselves-- the Knack.

the porcupine video was a hoot and a half, I watched a couple of the other porcupine videos.

he's just so cute, maybe we could breed the quills out of them or genetically alter them as he looks like a great gentle pet other than the obvious needles everywhere.

I didn't even know they had 'hands' like a raccoon so watching him hold and eat an ear of corn was amazing.

and he really talks too...

made me happy :)
