In its first month on the market, Microsoft’s new search engine Bing nibbled at Yahoo’s slice of the search market, according to data released Wednesday from data tracker comScore.
In June, Microsoft’s search of U.S. Internet searches rose to 8.4% of queries from 8% in May. Yahoo’s June share was 19.6%, down from 20.1% in May. Google was flat at 65%. The data excludes searches conducted on the Internet companies’ video, maps and local Web sites.

Funny, I have been seeing more traffic from Yahoo in the last two weeks or so and I have noticed a small amount from bing for my sites I make it:
87% Google 7% Yahoo! 4% Bing 2% Misc (places like Orange, Tesco & Ask)
Maybe I need to do more to get more traffic from Yahoo & Bing?

I think it's way too soon to analise this search data. I see Bing advertisements everywhere here in the USA and have not seen those Yahoo! ads in a long time on TV.
It's all marketing hype right now. Let's just see what happens down the yellow brick road and find out who is the good witch and who is the bad witch.

Ah, yes, nothing like a good Wizard of Oz reference.
With such a small increase to BING's numbers (8.4%) during the month of its rollout, I dont think it looks good.
I dont think we will be hearing GooGoo cry.... "aaahhhhh, I'm Melting"....anytime soon.

There's no way one can judge from their own set of sites.
In overall the sites I looked at recently got the following for July 1 through 14:

I agree, but I wouldn't say it's any more or any less accurate than what comscore puts together.

Exactly. Comscore has no clue either... In fact the last time they had Google lose market share in a report (and consequently sank G's stock) they ended up reversing their report... and since then it has been nothing but flowers and roses for G...
I think Comscore is a few guys in a room that meet over beers each month and make up some numbers... I want that job... ;-)
