Mozilla says Firefox 70 has added additional privacy protections and user tracking reporting.

The privacy tracking report allows users to see how many times Enhanced Tracking Protection blocks an attempt to tag you with cookies, to keep up to date on data breaches with Firefox Monitor, and to manage your passwords and synced devices with Firefox Lockwise.

For a user, this is great, but for an advertiser or marketer, it's becoming more difficult to track users and profile their browsing.

The underlaying protections activated in 69x have been prettied up with a REPORT in 70. Otherwise I don't see anything that different.

NoScript, however, still picks up the stuff that FF is missing ... though the number of things NoScript has to handle has been GREATLY reduced!

Here is one of the release notes:
Built-in Firefox pages now follow the system dark mode preference

Aliased theme properties have been removed, which may affect some themes

Passwords can now be imported from Chrome on macOS in addition to existing support for Windows

Readability is now greatly improved on under- or overlined texts, including links. The lines will now be interrupted instead of crossing over a glyph.

Improved privacy and security indicators

A new crossed-out lock icon will indicate sites delivered via
insecure HTTP
The formerly green lock icon is now grey
The Extended Validation (EV) indicator has been moved to the identity
popup that appears when clicking the lock icon
